Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. is looking to stop all things “Unhinged,” a Tuesday arbitration filing against a certain former Trump employee reveals.
The Washington Examiner is reporting that the President Trump’s campaign organization is taking legal action to force ex-White House employee Omarosa Manigault Newman to abide by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Omarosa has been the target of President Donald Trump‘s ire this week as she continues her book tour for Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House.
Many of the claims in the book may never be corroborated and some have been dismissed outright as absurd, but irrespective of all of that Trump clearly doesn’t want Omarosa speaking about her time in the White House. They also claim Omarosa has revealed private talks from the White House Situation Room. The Trump campaign is also taking issue with Omarosa’s playing of secret recordings.
The campaign has filed an arbitration claim against Omarosa in an attempt, in essence, to abide by a contract she purportedly signed when she joined the Trump campaign.
Part of that agreement, they say, was to never “disparage” the Trump family upon her exit.
The Examiner quoted a campaign official who said “wrong is wrong, and a direct violation of an agreement must be addressed and the violator must be held accountable.” The damages they are seeking for “egregious” violations numbers in the millions. They also want a cut of Omarosa’s book, by getting any “ill-gotten profits.”
Omarosa reportedly has 14 days to respond.
All of this being said, attorneys such as Law&Crime’s Elura Nanos have explained that if Omarosa did sign a NDA it is probably illegal.
It's entirely inappropriate & likely unconstitutional to require Fed employees to sign NDA that applies post-employment beyond classified info. We'll rep anyone who has signed & wishes to challenge such agreement pro bono. @BradMossEsq https://t.co/Hjia3THh69

Trump has gone after Omarosa numerous times on Twitter this week.
Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard….

…really bad things. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me – until she got fired!

While I know it’s “not presidential” to take on a lowlife like Omarosa, and while I would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and I know the Fake News Media will be working overtime to make even Wacky Omarosa look legitimate as possible. Sorry!

Wacky Omarosa already has a fully signed Non-Disclosure Agreement!

.@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa. I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have. She made it up. Look at her MANY recent quotes saying….

….such wonderful and powerful things about me – a true Champion of Civil Rights – until she got fired. Omarosa had Zero credibility with the Media (they didn’t want interviews) when she worked in the White House. Now that she says bad about me, they will talk to her. Fake News!

When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!
