So, Michael Cohen’s Mystery Client Has Been Revealed

Sean Hannity Michael Cohen mystery client

Eyebrows were raised earlier Monday when only two of the three clients Michael Cohen helped with “more direct legal advice or dispute resolution” in 2017-2018 were named in a court filing on Monday. The two named were President Donald Trump and Republican National Committee deputy finance chairman  Elliot Broidy.

Eyebrows have taken flight off of people’s faces now that the third client was named in court. That client is none other than Fox News host Sean Hannity.

While we do not know everything about the nature of the matters Cohen was assisting Hannity with, it is worth noting that Cohen has assisted both Trump and Broidy with secret negotiations to prevent fallout related to alleged sexual trysts.

For Trump, it was the alleged $130,000 payoff of porn star Stormy Daniels in exchange for silence. For Broidy, it was to prevent the disclosure of his impregnation of an unidentified Playboy playmate.

The Broidy payout was $1.6 million.

It was argued that Hannity’s identity should not be revealed because it was “likely to be embarrassing or detrimental to the client.”

Hannity would later say in a statement, however, that Cohen has never represented him in a legal matter and that he never paid him. He also said he did have “brief” discussions with Cohen for his “input and perspective.”

He further said there was no involvement of a third party and that discussions were “almost exclusively” about real estate.

This post has been updated with statements from Sean Hannity.
