A 20-year-old Washington state man allegedly threatened to kill President Donald Trump in a TikTok video, saying "it's as simple as we all grab guns" and "rush the White House."
Ayden Langevin is facing a charge of interstate communications with a threat to injure.
While the rant about Trump put him behind bars, it was actually threats against another politician about two years ago that landed Langevin on the U.S. Secret Service's radar, a probable cause arrest affidavit said.
"If Kamala Harris win da election imma assassinate her a—," he allegedly posted on his X account on Aug. 21, 2024, about the then-Democratic nominee for president.
Agents interviewed him a few months later at his home in Orting, which is near Tacoma. Langevin admitted that the X account was his and that he "occasionally" made posts like the one in question because he enjoys "ragebaiting" and trolling people on social media, cops said. He said he did not intend to harm anyone.
Langevin told agents that he "now understood" that he could face criminal charges for making such posts.
But in September 2025, he allegedly threatened another person on Instagram.
"Your sick don't let me catch you in public imma dead a— stomp yo face into da concrete," he said in one message, per the feds.
"Yo dead homies deserved it and id kill them again nd spit on they grave," he allegedly wrote in another.
FBI agents and Orting police spoke with Langevin, who denied making the post and told cops "he would not make any trouble."
But on June 1, he allegedly posted a video to his TikTok page. The video had "poor lighting," but feds said they could tell it was him.
"It's as simple as we all grab guns, we all group together, and we all rush the White House and actually kill Trump and all of Secret Service," he allegedly ranted. "We aren't doing any of this p— s— where we just storm it. No. We are killing. We have to kill. There is no other way."
Agents spoke with Langevin about the post on Sunday at his mother's house, where he was living. He said he was angry about current events such as the Epstein files and the Iran war. The defendant said he regretted posting the video and removed it after about 30 or 40 minutes. He believed about 60 of his followers saw it before he took it down.
Cops arrested Langevin. He has since been released on bond. His next court date is set for Sept. 14.
