Inset: Amy Jones (Milwaukee County Jail). Background: Rufus King International High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Jones allegedly pretended to be a substitute teacher (WITI).

A Wisconsin woman walked into a high school and pretended to be a substitute teacher, allegedly making inappropriate comments, insulting students and using racial slurs, cops say.

Amy L. Jones, 23, is charged with impersonating a public employee and five counts of exposing children to harmful descriptions.

The alleged incident unfolded on Sept. 24 at Rufus King International High School in Milwaukee.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by Law&Crime, school officials realized they had an impostor who had worked as a substitute teacher for at least two classes. The principal called the agency that supplies substitute teachers, and the agency confirmed that Jones did not work for them, cops said.

Jones allegedly arrived on campus that morning and told the office staff that she was there as a sub. She was assigned to a fifth-floor classroom, police say.

Students complained that she allegedly used "profane language, racial slurs, sexually derogative statements and organizing students by race and gender in class." She also bragged about "having felonies and being okay with going to jail," cops wrote.

Her comments were "making the whole class uncomfortable," the affidavit stated.

One of the students took a video that showed Jones allegedly swearing, calling a student "fat" and describing sexual acts to the boys in the classroom. Jones also allegedly told a student to "shut the f— up."

"He reported that she was making racist remarks toward white students and said they were 'white as s—' and called them 'white motherf—ers,'" investigators wrote.

The students also noted that another teacher was with Jones in the classroom for about 20 minutes in the first class, and Jones' demeanor changed when that other teacher left, according to the affidavit.

Jones allegedly asked the students if anyone had any marijuana, because the class was "so f—ing lame and annoying."

Students alerted school staff about Jones' alleged conduct, which led to them figuring out she was a fake, per police.

After staff uncovered the ruse, cops escorted Jones out of the school. Staff said she once attended the school as a student.

The principal said Jones was "lucky" because an extra substitute was needed that day and staff thought she was legitimate, according to the affidavit.

Jones seemed proud when cops interviewed her about the incident a few days later. She felt as if the ordeal was going to make her "famous" and "she seemed to be excited about that," cops wrote. Officers said it is more likely that she would be "infamous."

"Amy was very excited about that thought, snapping her fingers and dancing," the affidavit said. "She said she can't wait to get out."

The defendant said she decided to pull off the alleged ordeal because she was "bored."

"Amy stated she went to the school because she was bored," cops wrote. "She stated she hates kids and she just wanted to 'f— around.'"

Cops arrested Jones and took her to the Milwaukee County Jail, where she remains. Her next court date is set for Oct. 20.

Milwaukee Public Schools released a statement from the principal to parents, obtained by local Fox affiliate WITI, about the incident.

"We will continue to take all appropriate action to ensure that Rufus King International High School remains a safe and welcoming place for our students and staff," the statement said of the school's investigation.
