What was once a close friendship between two women in Florida turned so sour that one of them stalked, burglarized, and threatened to hurt the other, even enlisting another woman to help, authorities say.

Natasha Howell, 26, stands charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, aggravated stalking, writing a threat to kill, and criminal libel, according to Broward County court records reviewed by Law&Crime.

Her co-defendant, 23-year-old Kassandra Mitiale, also faces charges of burglary of an occupied dwelling and aggravated stalking, as well as criminal mischief of damage over $1,000. Her charges were filed on May 26, while Howell's were filed on July 13.

According to the victim, she had been close with Howell dating back to middle school; they regularly spent time together, and she had babysat Howell's child. They grew up together in North Lauderdale, Florida, she said, per a probable cause statement.

In May 2025 or so, they had a falling out; the reason was not disclosed in the statement.

"Since the falling out, Natasha took to social media on multiple occasions and publicly spoke out against [the victim] causing tensions between the two to escalate," the court document states. On May 11, Howell allegedly posted on WhatsApp, "I bought ya whole information for only $6, now my homeboy gonna run it up."

The other woman said she grew concerned that Howell wanted to hurt her given that the posts were "directly related to their issues."

Howell reportedly followed up that post with another one sharing the other woman's full name and date of birth along with a caption, "my police boo on it."

Two days later, according to authorities, Howell posted on the social media platform a photo of her holding a pistol, "followed by a recorded voice note in Patois in which she allegedly stated she intended to use the firearm against [the victim] and would be happy about it."

As May 14 rolled around, Howell reportedly got Mitiale involved. The two women called the victim together, during which they "antagonized her and encouraged her to fight" Howell, per the court records.

Though the victim said she didn't want any more contact with her, authorities say Howell "threatened to send" Mitiale to the victim's father's residence "to fight her."

Mitiale apparently did indeed go to that residence later that day, but the victim was not home, and Mitiale left.

On May 25 at about 2:05 a.m., Howell arrived at the victim's residence and pepper-sprayed the Ring doorbell camera, the probable cause statement says. Later that night, Howell encountered the victim at a club in Hollywood, Florida, and the two apparently fought before they were separated.

On May 26, Howell allegedly posted the victim's address on Instagram and said "you gotta go." Later that day, Howell called the victim and told her she was "5 min out," and at about 10:50 a.m., cameras captured two women tearing the Ring camera from the wall and trying to kick the door down before the footage stopped, per authorities.

The defendants again called the victim, with Howell reportedly stating to Mitiale, "ask her about her makeup," an apparent indication that they broke into her place and damaged things inside, according to the probable cause statement.

Deputies with the Broward County Sheriff's Office responded to the residence after the victim reported that the two suspects broke into her home and damaged personal property amounting to about $3,000. The woman "discovered her front door had been forcefully kicked in and that nearly all of her personal belongings" — including a flat-screen TV, couch, a mirror, and bathroom supplies — were damaged.

The victim then gave investigators the details of what she said transpired over the past weeks — and as deputies were at the residence, the victim got another call from the suspects.

"[W]e are not done yet," Howell apparently said, as well as "your boyfriend is next." Deputies said they captured this conversation on their body cameras.

Howell had also reportedly posted a video to her Instagram showing at least three people damaging items inside the victim's apartment. At one point, someone screamed "Kassandra!" authorities claimed.

After being arrested in May, Mitiale posted bond on June 4, court records show. She is no longer listed in the Broward County Sheriff's Office's jail, though Howell is.

Court records did not immediately list future court dates for the two defendants.
