Mario Rodriguez Ibarra (Franklin County (Ohio) Sheriff).

A tattoo artist is behind bars after allegedly raping a woman at gunpoint in his Ohio home.

Mario Rodriguez Ibarra, 22, was arrested Friday, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. A criminal complaint reviewed by Law&Crime says that the alleged victim told police that she and Ibarra had spoken on Facebook before they arranged for her to come to his house for a tattoo.

Ibarra and a male acquaintance reportedly picked the woman, who has not been publicly identified, up from her home and drove to Ibarra's house, a probable cause affidavit for Ibarra's arrest said. When the woman was in Ibarra's bedroom, he allegedly pulled out a gun and pulled her clothes off before raping her, the report said.

The woman told police that Ibarra fell asleep, and that's when she got dressed and walked out of the house. She then asked the male acquaintance for help, according to the affidavit. The acquaintance allegedly called police and waited with the woman until officers arrived.

That acquaintance also told police that while he was waiting for police to arrive, Ibarra walked outside and admitted he used a gun to force the woman into having sex with him, the affidavit said.

Court records show that he has been charged with rape and kidnapping. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday.

Franklin County Sheriff's records show Ibarra is in custody and being held without bond.
