A Wisconsin teenager has a warrant out for his arrest in connection with the fatal shooting of another teen.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney's office identified Robbiel Stokes, 15, after prosecutors charged the teenager with first-degree intentional homicide. According to a criminal complaint reviewed by Law&Crime, police responded to reports of a shooting in Milwaukee just before 5 p.m. on Sept. 19. Police found 16-year-old Camron Bowen lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Prosecutors said surveillance video showed Camron on a county bus minutes before the alleged shooting, standing behind Stokes. According to the complaint, the teens were seen having a "heated" conversation before they both got off the bus.
The bus driver told police he believed he picked up both teens at the same stop, and they sat near each other in the back of the bus. The driver said he pulled over to make a stop, and the teens got off at the same time. While still letting passengers get off the bus, the driver told police that he heard gunshots and saw Camron running away from Stokes, who was allegedly pointing a "silver pistol" at Camron.
According to the complaint, the driver said Stokes "caught up" to Camron, allegedly "shot him several times," and looked at Camron for a moment before running away. The driver then radioed his dispatchers to report what happened.

Police said that "6 seconds" after both boys got off the bus, Stokes pulled a handgun out of his hoodie while Camron's back was turned, and "immediately start[ed] to fire the handgun" at Camron, who ran in front of the bus to escape. Camron was seen collapsing in the middle of the road, "where it appears that he dies," police wrote.
According to the complaint, Stokes' mother told police that her son called her to pick him up around 4:57 p.m. She said she found him on the street, soaking wet from the rain, and dropped him off at his grandmother's house. When police showed her two images from the alleged shooting, she identified her son as the suspect. Police searched her vehicle with her consent, and they found a Federal .40-caliber Smith & Wesson cartridge on the floor of the back seat. Police said this was the same brand and caliber as the casings found at the scene of the alleged shooting.
In an interview with the principal of the school both boys attended, the principal said Camron and Stokes fought three days before the shooting.
Prosecutors issued a warrant for Stokes' arrest Friday, and he remains at large. In an interview with local NBC affiliate WTMJ, Camron's mother, Jennifer Cassidy, said, "I'm happy that I know who it is. I'm happy that I know it was exactly what I suspected. It is just hard because he is not caught yet. I just don't want this happening to anybody else."
Camron had just turned 16 the week before he was killed.
