A Pennsylvania woman started stabbing her boyfriend in the chest and abdomen after he "told her to get the f— out of my life," according to police. She allegedly claimed she "poked" him with the knife.

"She's crazy," the victim explained to cops about his girlfriend Jessica Eustache, according to a criminal complaint obtained by local NBC affiliate WCAU. "I told her to get the f— out of my life. She's running around with a knife. I told her to get the f— out of here, and she started stabbing me."

Eustache, 34, allegedly attacked the man at his home in Upper Darby Township on July 9. The victim told police that Eustache had been living with him and he was trying to kick her out when things escalated and almost turned deadly, per the complaint.

Eustache allegedly told cops she was arguing with the man while holding a serrated silver knife and she "poked" him with it.

"The mere fact that she gave her self-serving statement that it was a 'poke' doesn't erase the fact that she could have killed this male," Upper Darby Police Department Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt told WCAU. "There's no misunderstanding. It's no mistake. This was a violent domestic attack."

Officers were dispatched to the boyfriend's home after receiving a report about the stabbing and found the victim with stab wounds to his chest and abdomen. Eustache was allegedly screaming and standing outside when cops arrived, while the victim was inside using a rag to try to stop the bleeding.

The victim explained that during their fight, he tried to take the knife away from Eustache and that's when she started stabbing him, according to the complaint. The couple had been dating for eight years before the man decided to end the relationship.

Online court records show that Eustache — who has a criminal past that includes arrests for aggravated assault, resisting arrest and harassment — was arrested and charged with attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime. She is being held on $1 million bail and is due to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on July 23.

"There had been multiple incidents with the two of them in the past where if one or the other would have left, maybe we would not be here today talking about this," Bernhardt told WCAU. "It didn't have to occur," he added.
