A Maryland man who was just released from prison allegedly opened fire on two people after a spat over a parking spot and fatally wounded a 12-year-old girl at a football homecoming game.

Tyree Reynolds, 23, faces 30 charges including murder, attempted murder and assault in the death of Khloe Ishway in Baltimore, court records say.

According to cops, the shooting happened around 6:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of North Franklintown Road at a youth football homecoming event.

Paramedics rushed Khloe to the hospital, where she died. Four other people were shot and listed in stable condition.

According to a probable cause arrest affidavit posted by local Fox affiliate WBFF, Reynolds was standing in a parking lot near the football fields when two men walked up to him. The three exchanged words and the two men walked away.

Reynolds allegedly pulled out a short-barreled rifle from his backpack and opened fire. The men he was shooting at returned fire, hitting Reynolds in the ankle, cops say. Authorities say Reynolds' shots hit the victims because he fired toward the football fields while the other men shot in the opposite direction.

Khloe was with her mother, who was dropping off a bottle for Khloe's baby brother.

"It's so heartbreaking. This is senseless at a kids' event. We never expected this. She was with her mom and her brother. This could've been way worse. It's just senseless and I'm just heartbroken," Donna Reese, Khloe's grandmother, told local CBS affiliate WBZ.

Investigators used surveillance video to identify Reynolds as the alleged shooter. He was taken into custody after he was released from the hospital.

He allegedly admitted to being at the scene but denied shooting a weapon and gave "false information" including his description of the clothes he was wearing.

Maryland Department of Corrections officials said Reynolds was released from prison about a week before the shooting after a 2021 conviction on assault and firearm charges.

"Tyree Reynolds was previously sentenced to 15 years of incarceration, with all but five years suspended by a judge. Reynolds served the entirety of that five-year term, day for day, and was released on Sept. 25, 2026," prison officials said.

Reynolds is in the Baltimore County Jail without bond. His next court date is set for Nov. 4.

Reese called Khloe a "grandma's girl."

"She was a bit of a homemaker because I taught her how to do everything around the house, and she was great at it. She was a great big sister, a great daughter," Reese told WBZ. "She called me every day — every day when I got off of work to see where I'm at. Now, who's going to call my phone? My phone won't ring anymore. I'm going to miss my baby."
