About this position

Law&Crime is seeking a Director of YouTube Sales to lead our digital sales strategy, optimize ad monetization, and drive brand partnerships across our YouTube and social media ecosystems. This role is a leadership position focused primarily on high-level sales performance, expanding our advertiser base, maximizing inventory value, and developing innovative revenue strategies. While the primary focus is on driving direct and programmatic sales, this role will also support market positioning and the adaptation of sales materials to meet evolving industry standards. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of digital sales on social media, strong experience with CRM systems, and a data-driven approach to identifying trends, client needs, and revenue opportunities.

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of experience in digital media sales, creator economy partnerships, or agency-side account growth
  • Proven ability to acquire new clients and maintain client relationships
  • Experience creating sales proposals using digital content offerings
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategy
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Close CRM preferred)
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and own sales growth strategy end-to-end across digital platforms, primarily YouTube
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and close new brand partnerships across YouTube and other social channels
  • Maintain a robust CRM pipeline, providing accurate weekly revenue forecasts to the leadership team
  • Assume immediate ownership of our current client and partner portfolio
  • Create and deliver sponsorship proposals and packages tailored to client goals
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and high-stakes pitching to contract negotiation and post-campaign ROI analysis
  • Establish and nurture relationships with creator agencies and marketing firms to secure consistent opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on digital advertising trends, attend industry conferences, and continue to grow Law&Crime’s large network of clients
  • Partner with leadership to forecast growth targets and revenue trajectories
  • Work closely with the Sales Team on day-to-day campaign priorities
  • Partner with Ad Ops to measure inventory, deploy campaigns, analyze results, and invoice clients
  • Contribute to cross-platform planning during investigations, trials, and breaking news
